Opportunities available

One of our most important volunteering positions is at our Foodbank, where we rely on our volunteers to work as part of a team, ensuring our customers receive the food and support they need. You can choose to volunteer on a rota (notifications via WhatsApp) working a 2–3 hour shift alongside other friendly and hardworking volunteers.
-
What about our Foodshare Shop, we open Friday 12- 2 pm, Saturday 10 am - 11 am and Wednesdays 4 - 5:30 pm.
-
We also have a variety of other opportunities for those looking to get involved in the fight against hunger and homelessness. If you're passionate about helping in the community, our Harvest Festival Collections are the perfect opportunity to help us collect and redistribute food collected to those who need it most.
-
If you love to cook, consider joining our Community Meals team, where you'll be responsible for cooking up a storm for those who may otherwise go without.
-
Our fundraising team is always in need of dedicated volunteers, and we have a range of roles available depending on your interests and skills. From promoting our work at local supermarkets to helping us with event planning and logistics, every bit of support counts.
-
We have an opportunity for students in the Duke of Edinborough program, places are extremely limited so please register your interest as soon as you can. The student should be over 14 years old and email Debbie directly. Debbie@Foodshare.charity

Lastly, for those who love to drive and are looking for a more active volunteering role, we're in need of delivery drivers to help transport food and supplies to those who need them. If you have your own vehicle, this is a rewarding and important role that makes a real difference in people's lives.
